  1. Most Canuck businesses close to the border will accept Yank currency, however, being as the currencies have been running so close to even the past six months, don't expect somebody to bust out a newspaper and figure the exact conversion rate. You'll probably just get a 1/1 dollar to Loonie ratio. I don't think a business close to the border is going to give you a hastle with taking a greenback.

  2. Most cities and towns in southern Canada, and the stores there, will accept American money, either at par, or with a small exchange amount, based on the relative values of our dollars.  Cities and towns near the border in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the bigger cities such as Calgary, Regina, and Winnipeg, will also take American money.

  3. Probably if your near the border

But if you are in the paraires or something than no.

  4. It is possible to take American money, but I usually wouldn't.  Really, you're in Canada, so use Canadian money...  I doubt that many places in America take Canadian money.

  5. if your not sure got to a bank and get some canadian money with your debit card, if not you can use a visa or mastercard, but if its close to the border most likely theyll exchange it, but if your out in alberta, saskatchewan, manitoba or somewhere small the answer is proably no
