Can you report it to the FBI and stay 100% confidential so no one finds out it was you who gave them the info to solve a crime?

  1. LOL!! Sounds like wmayers9 has done a few shady things in his past!!!  As much fun as wmayers9 makes it sound, they will never go to those great lengths to "hunt you down" on a tip of a crime in progress.  Simple call the report the crime and say you want to be completely out of it.  Agencies get hundreds of tips a week and don't have the man power to hunt everyone down.  Do what you feel is the right thing to do and what you feel comfortable with.

    Good luck.

  2. All agencies now have an anonomous hotline to report crimes without iding yourself and get rewards for doing so

  3. That's getting exceptionally difficult anymore, what with the phone and Internet service providers having the technology to hunt you down.  You'd have to send it through the US Postal Service, and even then, it's very tricky to get away with it without being found out.  Best way would be to type all your information on a computer in use by the public - like at your library - then print it off, stick in in an envelope addressed to the proper authorities and stick THAT envelope inside another that you then mail to a "re-mailing service".  They remove the first envelope and send it on  - re-mail it - and destroy the second envelope.  BE CERTAIN you never touch the paper you mail or the first envelope you put it in with your bare hands and DO NOT l**k the envelope to seal it - use a new q-tip dipped in fresh water to moisten the flap on the envelope to make it stick.

  4. Only if you sell your soul.
