and u gave money to the teacher before you got a letter saying that your child got in trouble in school and saying that he or she is not able to go to the class trip due to his or her behavior. Does your child teacher give u back the money u gave her or keeps the money? I was amazed that my son teacher gave me back my money along with the letter!

  1. At our school, the money is kept because it gets sent along immediately.

  2. its fair but in some cases you can't get your money back

  3. They should refund the money.  My school does.

  4. It is proper unless the teacher had already given the money.

  5. They should give money back... it's fair.

  6. I think it was right that she gave you the money back, afterall, your child didn't go.

  7. the teacher did the right thing with the money.

  8. I would expect the money back of course as my child wouldn't be going.

  9. What would be the reason for her to keep the money if your son didn't go on the trip?

  10. of course the teacher is going to give the money back. if your child was naughty and cant go on the fieldtrip, the teacher will give your money back ecause your son is going and the teacher doent need the money so thats nice they give your money back some places cant give the money back

  11. That was fair.  The only way I think she would not give you the money back is if the trip was something that had to be paid in advance like a theater ticket.  Sounds like you have a good teacher.  It is your son who should be punished, not you.  :-)

  12. well there is no really promblem here. your son due to his behavior could not go on the field trip after you payed for it. since he didn't go you should get the money

  13. It probably depends on whether or not they already paid for the trip.  If they had, then you should not get your money back.  Either way though, I would not expect my money back because I would be more concerned about making sure that my child behaves himself.
