I know we follow our Prophet (saw) by saying "Peace be upon him"..to whom does "May Allah be pleased with him" apply to? And under what circumstances can you follow somebody's name with that phrase?I'm asking because Dr.Zakir Naik a renown Islamic scholar followed "MAY ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HIM" after mentioning Yazid's name (a brutal war criminal of Karbala). Is it true you're allowed to say "May Allah be pleased with him" whenever you talk about ANY MUSLIM that's no longer living? Or is it reserved for specific Holy figures? Was Zakir naik justified in saying that? He received a lot of condemnation for that statement. Whats ur opinion
