A guy saying "i love you" to a guy. Is this really normal, like in other countries? At first I was kinda culture shock.

Is this awkward for filipinos?

  1. It's perfectly normal.

Let's say you were saying that to a Japanese. You have to MEAN it. I wouldn't be surprised if one hasn't ever said it in there life.

  2. Two close guy friends sometimes they do but with a luagh coz it sounds funny and unusual but two Filipino guys saying i love you to each other is not good to hear, unless they're relative like father and son or grandfather to grandson.

  3. I say "Loveyah" to my girlfriends because sometimes it feels awkeard to say "I love you" straightaway. I think this is something to do because we grow up sending love letters containing "I love you" to our opposite s*x ONLY. You know those days in the elementary grade...

For a guy-to-guy....it sounds very weird. I never heard any guy done that...oh except when a father says I love you to his son in the movies.

  4. among family members its very normal.

  5. It's perfectly normal... all over the world in fact - as long as its 4 am in a bar and the speaker sounds more like

"jshonny, c'mon maaan! johnnie!  I luvs ya man. no, no, no...listen to mesh... really man, I do."

other than that, I suspect one person is about to hand another person a thousand pesos.
