Scafell Pike .... walking distances / times?

Question

Anyone know how far / how long (time) to the peak of Scafell or similar high peak in the lakes ?

Unless he is fit and done hill walking before I would not take him up there. Whilst it is not extremely challenging you must remember that it is a mountain and the weather is very changeable.

Wasdale-Lingmell-Scafell Pike-Scafell-Wasdale is 7.3 miles and it takes roughly 5 hours and 45 minutes.
