What do these guys mean by equivalent speed...has it something to do with the scale of the "Car"...if it is, I should think that I could do the same by throwing a matchbox F1 out of a 10 story window....great record.

  1. LMAO ............... I needed a laugh, thanks.

I think they mean to scale. So the Scalextric car goes as fast as an F1 car relative to its size.

  2. yeh

  3. Yes, it's relative to the scale of the car. Classic Scalextric is 1:24 scale so 1000mph would be 41mph in real terms.

Throwing it out of a window wouldn't be allowed as it's supposed to be speeds created by its own engine, not by gravity or chucking.
