Scam between lawyers and doctors?

I was in a car accident. Hired reputable lawyer who sent me to there doctor. He doesn't seem to listen. Am in pain, but he just pacifies me.

Change doctors if you do not think you are getting adequate treatment. But good luck finding a doctor on your own who will accept a lien, wait perhaps years for your case to be resolved before he is to be paid, and waive his charges if you lose your case.

The doctor that your lawyer sent you to may not have been intended for ongoing medical treatment, but rather to assess your condition in the light most favorable to your case.  If you are not happy with the doctor, ask your lawyer if you can go see another doctor.

The problem with seeing another doctor is 1)  you may have to pay the new doctor rather than postponing his fee until you win/settle your case, 2) the other doctor's files can (probably) be seen by the opposing party.

Regardless, your health is the main concern, so don't let this doctor simply ignore your complaints.
