Scam websites?

The website(s) i have been curious about is the ones where they say "just enter your name, email, address and we will ship you a free laptop, and i phone for free!! No strings attached!!!" Whats the catch, and will it really work??

So you enter your name, e-mail, address and phone number.

No laptop.  No Iphone.

But lots of junk mail, spam e-mails, phone solicitations and salesmen.
