Scan photos onto my computer?

I have a Samsung SCX 4x16 Series printer. I know that it makes copies, but will it scan things too? If so, how do I get it to do that?

  1. I'm not familiar with that printer but if it makes copies then it scans.  Just run the software that came with it and look for the scan section.


  2. i have the exact same printer, and I've been using it for years. Unfortunately, I have gone through all the paperwork for it (it doesn't come with any software) and inspected and experimented with it thoroughly, and I just don't think it's possible to scan any photos to your computer with it. I've tried countless times, but mine will only copy. Sorry :(
