Question:

Scandinavia/Russia cruise?

We're looking to take a cruise next year that would have stops in Scandinavia, Sweden, possibly Norway, ending with Russia. Anyone know a reputable cruise line that offers a cruise like this? We'd like the cruise to be at least 5 days long.

it will give you a wide variety of cruise lines to make the best choice.

  2. The cruise lines that you should look at for cruises to what they call the "Baltic" countries are Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean or Celebrity.

    HOLLAND AMERICA

The cruises, however, will likely be longer than five (5) days; they are typically 7 to 14 days depending upon how many countries they visit and what departure port the ship uses.

We did the Baltic cruise a couple years ago in mid-May.  Ours was a 14 day cruise on the Celebrity ship Constellation and we departed from Dover, UK and had port stops in Sweden, Denmark, Eastonia, Poland, Germany, Norway, Finland, and St Petersburg Russia.  Our cruise was round trip and ended back in the UK.  Most cruises to the Baltic will be round trip.  Some depart from Holland, others from the UK.  Its best to go to the Baltic in the summer months as it can be rather cool that far north.  Our mid-May cruise we had good weather, temps in the mid to upper 60's and it rained only one day of the cruise.  Since the season is limited  you should book early (a year in advance).  You'll also get the best price by booking early.  When you use the cruise line web sites search for cruises to "EUROPE" and use the UK and/or Holland as the departure ports to refine your search.
