Scanning on sharp AR-168D copier, printer, scanner

Question

The machine was doing fine scanning for Optical Character Resolution and moving the file automatically to Microsoft Word. For some reason now, when I scan and save the file as .tif, and then open it in sharpdesk and drag it to OCR, it automatically opens sharpdesk imaging rather than the word processor Microsoft Word.
