Scanning/printing

I have been using ScanMaker X12 USL with iMac System 9 for some time; I have recently upgraded to a Mac System 10.3.9 (G4) and now find I can't scan or print out (Epson Stylus Color 760). 
Is my scanner (and/or printer) not compatable with my new computer? Or, is there some way of achieving compatibility?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
