Scar remover/ fader?

Question

Does anyone know any good scar remover/ fader?

I have a huge scar on my knee from using my neighbors bike

a couple of years ago..

The scar isn't thatnoticeablee, but you can still see it.

Please don't recommend Bio-Oil or Mederma.

The only really truly foolproof way is to have a professional stitch it back up to a T, lucky my 8 inch scar on my leg was done so expertly I didn't require this, 8 months later it has faded a ton. But I tried some stuff my mom made me slap on, maybe sped it up I can't remember, I can't remember name either, but the truly foolproof way is to have a surgeon stitch it back up nice and clean, a few people I know had it done and their scars are barely noticeable, but that is of course expensive, otherwise you gotta test stuff out and find what works for you. :s

A cheaper alternative than prescriprion medicine is some Vitamin E cream.

It works fine but probably not as drastic results as the $135 stuff, whatever that was.

But I have found this really helpful.

I have a huge scar on my wrist (it's not what it sounds like at all, it was actually a completely unintentional burn, long story) but anyway, for fear of people suspecting I was suicidal, I did a lot of research on how to fade scars. I hear you can go to your doctors and they can do something to make it fade, but i can't even remember what the procedure was called. Also, probably the best advice, make sure that scar doesn't get a lot of sun. I'm assuming it's dark like mine, but I covered it with a bandage for a while and made sure I always had sunscreen on it so that it didn't get any darker.

Stri-Vectin...it's $135, but it works wonders...You have to follow the instructions to a T though...Everyday twice a day for at least 6 weeks before you see results.
