Scared about braces. All past or present braces wears look!?

Okay, i'm getting braces in August and i'm super nervous. Does it hurt bad when the do the wire stuff? like how bad. Ughh.

No, it doesn't really hurt. But even if it does hurt, just think of the outcome, you'll have nice, straight teeth once they're off.

I am too! Im getting them August 10. I am so scared! So i cant give you any advice or anything, but i wish us both good luck! :D

It won't be a big deal.  When the put the braces on it doesn't hurt, but after they are put on your mouth will be a bit sore.  They are going to be moving teeth around, so you will feel the pressure.  You will get your braces adjusted every month or so, and each time you go in, you teeth will be a bit sore for a few days; but you'll get used to it.

You definitely need to make sure you take real good care brushing AND flossing so you don't get cavities while you have braces.

If they do bother you, just think how happy you'll be when everything is nice and straight!

Not so much pain when they do it, but there is some pressure for some time after, usually a week to a week and a half tops.

No, it doesn't hurt while they are doing it. It's a few hours after that for a few days to a week that will sore and a discomfort.
