Scared about highschool!

Question

im entering hs....and im scared for the 1st day,ill meet up with my friends the moment i go on campus....but, does any1 have any advice for me?

Chillax.aside from repeatedly getting lost for the first week high school is a piece of cake.

I think you aren't scared. If you are you shouldnt. I maybe excited. This's normal , and this excitement is fun. Believe me , you'll miss these things in the future.

The main thing i advice you: do not loosd the track of the classes , start doing well from the first days. It's easier to start studying well from the first days than after 1-2 months or when you finally understand that your purpose in coming to HS. is studying.

Don't ask upperclassmen for directions because they might send you the wrong way and you will get lost.......I did it last year to incoming freshmen... Ask a teacher..  but once you learn your way around and get used to the older kids High School is no problem..

im goin into 10th. but last year i couldve used this advise-

DONT BE LATE TO YOUR CLASSES!

try to stay out of the way of the uperclasmen.

do all your work and listen to your teachers.

try to find out as much as you can bout all the fast upcoming events. be friendly but dont be a push over.

Don't be scared.  I slept through high school it was so boring.

Ahh so was I last year, but now I realize how stupid is was to be scared. I promise you after a month of school you're going to be like, " Pfftt. Whatever."

What bothered me the most about high school was how there were so many people since I was so use to just being around a small amount of people that I knew, but it high school it changes. It's much harder to get in classes with friends, and lunch periods are weirder.

So just be social, but don't be obnoxious either, because highschoolers are a less tolerant than kids in middle school.

Remember you can't impress everyone, so just act how you feel comfortable and don't care about what other people might be thinking of you. All the other freshmen are just as nervous, so you won't be the only one or anything.

Just have fun, :P.

I was very nervous on my first day also. But after you meet up with your old buddies you will be just fine.

You have NO reason to be scared, trust me. We all get nervous our first day, but think about past times going to a different school/grade. You were nervous at first, but after a few weeks, maybe even days, you got used to it, right? Old story! Just wait and soon enough you'll realize theres nothing to worry about :)
