  1. CALM DOWN...don't use all this nervous energy freaking out just relax...now then spend all day visualizing your race think about how you'll feel at different points throughout the race hink about who you'll pace with and where you'll make your move...i know all this sounds cheesy but it truly preps your mind for your race which will subconciously ready your body to "do battle"...drink lot's of water as if you are dehydrated you WILLrun 3-4 seconds slower which could mean the difference between 1st and 10th...about 45 min. before your race go run a 10 min warmup then do a 100m stride...after this stretch lightly then do butt kick drill, high skipping drill, side shuffle drill, and high knee drill...if you don't know what one of those are skip it...now stretch some more...at twenty min before your race run for 30 se at your full race pace...comeback and change into racing shoes/spikes(if you have some)  now stay loose and jog around till your race keep the blood pumping...AND WHATEVER YOU DO AVOID SUNBATHING AS IT WILL DRAIN YOUR MUSCLES BIGTIME!...at 5min before your race do another 100m stride and then before you are placed in your spot on the start line ask your startr to let you do 1 more stride out...keep your head up in the race and focus on the person in front of you don't go out too fast but don't get boxed in at the start...good luck and let me know how you do

  2. i would say before the race is to warmup for 15 minutes stretch and get four to five strides and you should be good. be sure to be hydrated throughout the day. GOOD LUCK!!!
