Scared about the Gardasil shots!?

Question

Okay so I got my first Gardasil shot on July 9, and my arm was sore where I got the shot for a day or two. So nothing big. But after I started reading these articles on how these girls got the shot and now they're paralyzed. They were all around my age too. I'm 13. I have a doctor's appointment to get the second shot on September 9th and I don't want it. I'm afraid of the risks. My mom says I'm just being paranoid but I'm scared! My friend got her shots and she's fine but she's one person. If I got the first one, do I have to get the second one?

My mom says she's going to talk to my pediatrician about it, but I'm afraid I'm still going to have to get it. Am I just being paranoid or what?

I've had all three of my Gardasil shots, and I'm 17. I'm fine... You're gonna be ok. (I didn't like them cause I don't really like needles... but >.<) Just try not to freak out, ok?

well i am another person.. i have gotten all three of mine and i'm fine.. i think you are just over reacting just a little.. i mean i dont think its actually true.. and if it is, its very rare...
