Scared of everything?

my problem started since i was a child and now its developing even more am scared of elevators i cant go in them, my heart starts to beat so fast and i feel like throwing up even if its only for a minute , and now when i went for a vacation with my family to thailand i started to get scared of flying i was about to cry , i dont get it why am i being a chicken thts embaressing il be 20 in nov and i stil cant get ovr those simple things?!

  1. The only way to get over it is to face your fears, which obvously you still went through with what you were doing but you have to keep doing it. You can not live your life in fear you will miss out on so much.Example; I'm 22 and scared to death of ATV's...I just have to get on cry like a baby and when it's all said and done I laugh my butt off, and each time it gets a little easier.


  2. Use the stairs and drive instead of flying.  

  3. Find a therapist who can use cognitive behavioral therapy. They will teach you techniques on how to control your fears. But like someone said, the best way to get over something is to do it. Ride in as many elevators as you can and you will not be scared of it. As for flying, fly with a friend who can help you. Go for a short ride, not over the ocean. Eventually you will get used to it and not be scared any more.
