Scared of investing because of tax?

I have been reading about investing and have been thinking allocation some money to invest. But the problem is that I'm a student and don't understand the tax implication when you sell and get profit. How can I understand it?

Don't worry about it.  Take it to a tax man and let them figure it out.  It is well worth the money.  Better yet, just do turbo tax online.  It is cheaper.
