Scared of s*x???????

im scared to be in a relationship because the thought that it could get serious and lead something like s*x. im deathly afraid to have s*x it scares me, just because i think its completely dirty. and imagining myself doing it i think im disgusting. im only 16...but this is stopping me from being in a relationship...what do i do?

It sounds like this is somthing you really need to work through. Being scared about the unknown is a big deal; maybe try reading something like Our Bodies Our Selves to help yourself understand what will happen when you're ready. Most everyone has s*x; it is natural and can be good if you're ready. I think the key is having s*x when you're ready; I told my boyfriend that I needed some time and we stayed together. We broke up before I had s*x with him, but for other reasons. When I was finally ready, I wanted to have s*x. (It was way after I was 16 - like 2 years.) When you're ready, you'll know it. Don't let anyone push you into it, and be upfront about how you fee about it when the subject comes up. And tell your partner your concerns; if it's a person of quality they will want it to be a good experience for you too.

you can have a relationship without it, some people met other people and they do s*x in the next day, if you give your self that easy nobody wants to have a serious relationship with you...if the man really respect you he wont ask you  to do things specially if your not comfortable in the first place..

Dont be scared of a relationship and their are guys out their just as scared as you. If it ever gets to a stage in a relationship when it might heat up, speak to your partner. If your partner really likes you he will respect your decision if not he will leave. Dont take that personally a true genleman will wait.

It starts off with a kiss and use feel so special to each other that nothing else matters and all you want to do is be close. That's awesome! you don't hear too many say something like that. s*x is beautiful but only in marriage which that's thrown out the window. Keep on respecting yourself and think it is dirty because alot of dirty things do come from s*x. You can be in a relationship, but if a guy tries to put the moves on you then tell 'em you're not ready and say im saving myself for some special!

I've hardly told anyone...I honestly thought I was alone.... I'm only 15, but I think about it and I'm completely terrified. Sometimes i fear I will never be loved because I fear that's all guys think about... I would only love this guy to death to ever ever do such a thing.

Let the guy know that your abstinent or that you aren't ready or sure about. In fact, if you really trust him, tell him the idea honestly bothers you. If he respects that, then he really cares about you. That's how I see it.
