Scared to bus alone..........?

hey people i know this is stupid, but i'm scared to bus alone. whenever i think about going somewhere and i don't have a ride from anyone i get nervous. ive always hated bussing alone because the thought of everyone watching you getting on is just nerve wrecking! i don't know why........i mean, i've bussed alone before, but not much. how do i overcome this? i'm not good at presenting infront of the class either, but i get through it. i think it depends whos in my class though. but anyway, i hate this bussing alone phobia thing. lol ugh! but honestly bussing home is always better because when you're at the station everyone is getting on together :D but when ur off everyones watching your *** lol! but sall good. i don't turn back. lol HELP!

I know how you feel.

I was scared to ride the bus out of NY area I went for first time.

When I took Suffolk County Transit for first time, I was nervous and scare because of rumor and crime.

However, I overcome my fear.

Even I was afraid of my first domestic flight roundtrip bet. LGA and CLE as well.

I overcome my fear by enjoying the view, scenic, reading a book, taking pictures from bus windows, etc.

Just keep doing it.  It will become natural after a while.  In the beginning it may make you nervous, but after you get used to it you won't even think about it any more.  

Remember that no one is actually looking at you, it's all in your head.

It's perfectly natural to be afraid of being in the public eye alone. It's similar to stage fright. Have you thought of getting a family member or friend to ride with you or wait for you at the stop? Also, if you don't like people watching your backside, once you get off the bus steps try walking along the bus(or you can just stand there), with your side to it until it pulls away. Go in the direction you need to, and that way you can keep an eye on the bus as well.
