Scared to ride top thrill dragster.....?

Is it a good idea for me to ride it if i hate rides that drop u like the power tower?........im going in like 5 weeks and my parents are gona make me ride it and im scared to death

just a few weeks ago i went to six flags and went on almost every single ride. before i went though i hated rides that went upside down. i knew i had to face my fear. if i didnt like going upside down after i went on a rollercoaster i would never get on one again...maybe. but i ended up loving the rollercoaster and went on every singe flipping ride. from the outside it looks scary but once youre on it its different. dont worry nothing will happen if you get on the coaster you fear. i bet you will end up loving it and say i wasted my time whiile i could of been enjoying this fantastic ride.

Your parents shouldn't make you go on it.  If they know that you are scared then it's really unfair.  Just tell them how you feel about it.

your parents should be dropped on their heads from the top of it--jerks! I hate people that force their kids to do things they are afraid of, thinking its good for them.

it doesnt drop you quite like power tower, its a whole thrill factor.  Keep your head back and feel the speed!

No, it doesn't give you that same feeling in your stomach. It shoots you off really fast at the beginning, so for some reason that makes it feel different. You actually don't get that feeling very much at all, b/c you're already going to fast by the time you get to the top of the hill. It is the most amazing feeling in the world, you just feel like you're flying or something. Top Thrill Dragster is my favorite ride, but I won't ride Power Tower b/c I don't like that feeling either. Just try to relax and enjoy it, I've never heard of anyone that has ridden this ride and not liked it :-)
