Scars on Show dogs?

Not sure how old this is, but - You can show your dog - repairing a broken leg is not only an allowable medical procedure - It is good pet ownership!!!! (There is a list of unallowable procedures available on the Kennel Club sight)  Some breed standards actually have it written that scars should not be penalized!  Is the scar on the show or non-show side?  How noticable is it?  The judge can ask about the scar, be honest, she broke he leg & made a full recovery! Nothing to worry about.  You could even use grooming chalk if the hair is thin around the scar to help blend it.
