Scart Video Control

Someone has given me a pro-con 101SB scart video control box with no instruction manual. I've got a tv, virgin v set box, dvd and video. There is a plug for TV and then 3 scart input sockets with 2 sets of buttons, 1 set marked record and 1 play.

I'm looking to find the manual online or get an idea how to get the control box to work. Can you help?
