Question:

Scart socket connections

I moved my TV and now I,m pulling my hair out trying to get the scart leads back in the correct sockets. I have a TV with one socket, freeview box with 2 sockets and a VCR with 2 sockets. I also have a DVD player but when I,m using that I normally just take one of the freeview leads out and put it into my DVD player.

At present my TV and VCR are working (but the picture isn,t as good as it was) but I have no signal from my freeview box.

I have read other replies about scart connections on here and I,m completely baffled as to what Scart "In" and "Out" means.

A huge thanks to anyone who can help.

  1. connect scart out or AV1 on the video to the tv

connect scart in or AV2 on the VCR to Scart out or AV1 on the freeview box,

connect the DVD to scart in on the freeview box.
