  1. Soprano, of course :-)

    Just joking-I love the sound of Italian names and would not find any of them "scary"

  2. La Morte, it means Death.

  3. Here are some I came up with:

    Della Morte      (means 'of death')

    Oppedisano   (a real scary bully from my school *shivers*)

    Calabrese       (means 'from Calabria' but sounds scary)

    Indelicato         (means 'not delicate')

    Squarcialupi   (means 'wolf slayer')

    Macellaio        (means 'butcher')

    Macellaro       ('butcher' in a heavy Roman accent, very nasty!)

    Mezzasalma   (means 'half-corpse')

    Mezzanotte     (means 'midnight')

    Mortale            (means 'deadly')

    Caporaso       (means 'shaved head')

    Del Sangue    (means 'of blood')

  4. costanza, or   johnny dino

  5. Here are some but it would best if you tell me what characteristics (besides scary) your character has:

    Buttafuoco = someone who throws fire

    Sputafuoco = someone who spits fire

    Mangiacan = one who eats dogs

    Strega = witch

    Gnomo = gnome

    Gambarotto = broken leg

    Gambacorto = (one) short leg

    Gobbo = hunch back

  6. Esposito, Caruso

    Corleone, Riina, Provenzano (mafiosi)

  7. Cespuglio.

    It's Italian for "Bush" :-)

    Seriously, it depends on the genre of your story; it's a crime story, a fairy tale, ...?

    One real existing last name is Spaventa (literally : "he/she/it scares")

  8. diavolo or demonio = devil

  9. Scary-sounding... is it good Berlusconi or Mussolini?

    eheehhe

    ciao!

  10. Cicero, Gambini, Gotti, Capone, Clemenza, Brasi, etc. lol there are some famous mobsters and hit men both fictional and real lol

  11. Lombroso (pron. Lohm-broh-soh).

    A so named famous criminal anthropologist really existed later XIX cent.

    And it remembers "ombra"=shadow, "ombroso"= someone easy to anger and with a gloom temper

    If you wants a grimer name, change it in

    Lumbroso (pron. Loom-broh-soh)
