We are going to Mexico next week and the forecast says "Scattered T-storms" and 60% chance of rain each day we are there! Do you think we will hardly see the sun at all? We are staying at a resort right on the beach :(

  1. Usually during the summer when there is a good chance for storms each day, the storms are most concentrated during the afternoon hours due to afternoon heating. If this is the reason for the thunderstorms, then you will likely see the sun during the morning and parts of the afternoon until the storms develop over your area. So you will likely see the sun for much of the day.

  2. there is gonna be a high coverage of t-storms but that doesn't mean your not going to see the sun

  3. You will probably see sun most of every day but you will have late day storms everyday. It won't be storming all day every day

  4. Scattered thunderstorms and 60% Chance of rain does not mean you will see rain 60% of your vacation at all. This often happenes in the summer and often in the south.  All it means is that there will be thunderstorm cloudes scattered and moving through the area.  You may get an hour of rain, maybe 20 mineuts, it may rain 5 blocks away and be dry where you are.  The point is that small scattered thunderstorm clouds will be within your area and you will see plenty of sun, may not be a cloud in the sky, then in an hour it may start raining, and stop in like 10 min.  or 3 hours.

    Enjoy!
