  1. Start at the end of your hunt, and work backwards.

    Look around and find a place to hide a prize, then make up a clue describing that area.

    Now move around and find another good hiding spot, hide the clue you just wrote in this spot.  Then write another clue describing this place.

    Then look around for another hiding place, put that clue there and repeat....

    You can make the clues as simple or as hard as you like depending on the age of the kids.

    You can write each clue on a puzzle piece, and when they have all the pieces the picture will show them where the treasure is....

    Use your imagination, you can have lots of fun... make them dig up stuff, hide prizes in frozen ballons so they have to melt them... you'll soon get inspired.


  2. Go to www.pbskids.org and look up Cailou. In his cartoons, he does scavenger hunts and has some great ideas too. :-) Glad you asked this because I'm going to do that as well. :-) Thanks for the idea/question. :-)
