Scene in The Secret Life of the American Teenager????

in episode 8 of the secret life of the american teenager, Mimzy and Amy r telling Amy's mom that they want to keep the baby. mimzy then says something about how small the baby is so they can keep it. she also says something like, "It's very tiny. For the first 2 years it can sleep in here (she opens a silverware drawer) and then after it can move into a bigger space, like a dresser drawer..." Amy and her mom have this "look" on their faces and there is an akward silence until her mom says something to Ashley. Was mimzy like serious or something...i just don't understand that scene. Can you help me understand it...its confusing...please and thanks!

She said she has alzheimer's but she might have also been just playing

mimzy has alzheimer's so she must have forgotten how to take care of a baby or something and she also forgot amys moms weight when she was born.

the grandmother has alzheimer's and she had forgotten how to take care of a baby so as they were talking she faded  off into something different because of the disease!

no mimzy has alzheimers i dont think she knew wat she was saying. Thats why it was an akward moment 4 amy and her mom, they did not know wat was going on with her.
