Schalke 04 defender, Christoph Metzelder accepts the underdogs label against Manchester United: UEFA News
Schalke 04 centre-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christoph-Metzelder-c9168, believes that his team will be the underdogs in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League in the 2010-11 season.
Schalke will play Manchester United in the first-leg at the Veltins-Arena on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 followed by the second-leg at Old Trafford on May 3, 2011.
The winner of the two teams will book a place in the final of the competition at the Wembley Stadium, London. Metzelder believes that United will be boosted with confidence to beat the Germans.
Talking to the reporters Metzelder said, "I think we are underdogs, yes. United have so much experience in the Champions League, playing quarter-finals or semi-finals every year. United will be more confident of going to London than if they had faced Barcelona
or Madrid."
