Malaga officials claimed that the club are ready to pay any amount for the striker in order to improve upon their team’s performances form the last season. The player, on the other hand, seemed delighted on being linked with a move back to Spain. He mentioned
that he has a rich history in that country and it would be wonderful to end his career there, where it all started.
It is reported that the 34-year-old has had talks with Malaga tactician http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 Hierro regarding the move.
Some closer sources have already confirmed that the deal would take place on time and Schalke will be without the veteran striker during the 2011/12 season. The reports, though, have been brushed aside by the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ralf-c30492 Rangnick
was confident about the player’s stay at the club. He enthused that there is no reason for the former Spain International to leave the club as he has been getting a consistent run in the middle ever since landing at Veltins Arena in 2010.
