The German club has stressed they would not push the young prodigy to commit his future to the Bundesliga outfit, despite continued interest from English Premier League sides

will not rush the talented player to sign a contract extension as soon as possible.

Moreover, the club official has stated that he will honour the star midfielder’s wish to take his time in deciding about his future, even though he will not be contracted to them by the end of the current campaign. He claimed that
heavy discussions are taking place between Holtby and the club, and his future will be sorted out soon.
"We are in intensive talks with Lewis (Holtby),” the former Germany international was quoted as saying in an interview.
