Club sporting director, Horst Heldt, denied any such rumours and admitted that the two players are fully committed to the club and will stay for the next season.

The sporting director also shrugged off rumours relating to Howedes’ move to Bayern Munich. He insisted that the club are not ready to sell at any cost and is looking forward to another successful season.
“I've also read about Real. But I'm not aware of anything. And we also want to build, not sell!” he concluded.
Schalke have been linked with Rafael Van der Vaart and Kalou in this summer transfer window also.
