Schalke striker Raul claims Sir Alex Ferguson will have a solution to stop Barcelona
Schalke 04 striker, Raul http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gonzalez-c15099, has claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson will definitely have a solution to the attacking style of Pep Guardiola’s team and admitted that it will be a thrilling final to watch. The Spaniard’s current club, Schalke, were defeated
by Manchester United while Barcelona had the better of his former club, Real Madrid.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 revealed that both sides deserved to be in the final and it will be a mouth watering clash. He suggested that there will not be any favourites and it will be a hard battle. He stated that both the managers will have to work out a strategy to stop the
opponent in the final and was all praise for Sir Alex Ferguson, calling him a legend.
“I don’t think there is a favourite. There is nothing I can tell the managers of United or Barcelona. They [Ferguson and Pep Guardiola] are both great coaches and at Manchester, in particular, Ferguson is a legend. He will know exactly what his players have
to do to win and they will work on a plan,” he was quoted.
The former Real Madrid striker insisted that both teams are well balanced and well aware of each other’s tactics as they had met in the 2009 final. He stated that Manchester United will be looking to overcome the mistakes made in the Rome final two years
ago and beat the Spanish giants to avenge the defeat suffered in Italy.
“The two sides are both very well balanced and they will know each other very well, from playing each other in the final two years ago. They are both at the ultimate level. Barcelona are playing very well – that is clear – but Manchester United have proved
against us and in the past that they can compete with whatever team they face,” he said.
Manchester United will face Barcelona in the final of UEFA Champions League at Wembley on May 28. The Red Devils defeated Schalke with a 6-1 aggregate score whereas Barcelona downed arch-rivals Real Madrid with a 3-1 score line.
