Schalke winger Jefferson Farfan insists he is happy at the club and has no plans to leave
Schalke winger Jefferson Farfan has insisted that he is happy with Die Knappen and has no intention whatsoever of leaving the German giants at the moment. He claimed that he did not have any talk with any other club in the summer
transfer window for a possible transfer and wants to stay.
The Peruvian international was heavily linked with a move to Turin giants Juventus in this summer’s transfer window but the move was reportedly stalled by Schalke, who did not want to get their hands off their prized asset. The

Farfan claimed that he had no talks with any club in the transfer window and insisted that he is happy to stay at the club which won the DFB-Pokal last year. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven player stated that he would surely honour his
contract which will end at the end of the season next year.
“There haven't been any talks with other clubs. I'm happy at Schalke and I have a contract here,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Schalke Sporting Director Horst Heldt admitted that the club are in talks with the player to strike a new deal. He claimed that offering the Peruvian international a new contract is one of his utmost priorities this summer as he
is a very important player for the club.
Heldt praised the winger’s ability and stated that he is a match winner and his stay would be vital for the future of the club.
“It's not like I made him a third offer straight away in the changing rooms after the game, but I am on it, it's one of my top priorities. Jeff is a constant danger out on the pitch - opponents are frightened of him!” the Sporting
Director added.
Jefferson Farfan has so far made 119 appearances for Schalke 04 and scored 30 goals in the process. The winger also has 40 international caps to his name and has scored 12 times for the country.
