Paul Scharner is ready to move to German side Hamburg after he failed to meet a clause in his contract that would have allowed him to stay at West Brom for another year.

The former SV Salzburg and Wigan Athletic player is renowned for his positional flexibility and has seen him deployed at every role for the English Premier League outfit Wigan. The midfielder is rumoured to advance and seek a new
challenge elsewhere after agreeing not to extend his stay with West Brom.
The 32-year-old is currently unemployed after spending four years with Wigan and two more with West Brom. The reports suggest that the move is almost done and only a successful medical is delaying the transfer. The Austrian international
was examined on Tuesday by the Dinosaur.
The attacker will move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 if he passes the test. He released himself from the hold of the Premier League side after not choosing to extend his contract and letting the deal to run out in the summers.

"He is experienced, but still at a good age. He is a senior international as well. He is definitely not here just to top up the size of our squad; he is able to play an important role for us inside our first team," he concluded.
