hi,

I'm an Indian national spouse of British (E.U) citizen living in UK with Indefinite leave to remain stamp.

Now we are travelling to Italy and I would require a Schengen visa.

Is it true that the visa will be issued free?

On the application form there are questions marked with (*) which I don't need to answer in case I'm a spouse of E.U citizen:-

Current Occupation, Employer's details, who is paying for this trip etc...

Does this mean that I don't need to carry any documents related to these above questions?

  1. You have indefinite right to stay in UK do not mean you can travel free of restriction in EU. Therefore you are still required to apply for a visa. Of course it will not FREE.

Answer all questions otherwise they can deny your application.
