Can some one tell me where I can find the detailed circuit diagram for an ac step up transformer that steps up single phase power from 140 v. to 230 v. and stabilizes at 230 v. so that the power never overshoots 230 v.?

  1. "Power never overshoots 230V"?? Power is in wats not volts. If you are looking for a stepup xformer that has over voltage(surge) protection. You buy the protector separate

  2. ok,you want to do what?1st you dont need a transformer for  that. your house has 240vlt coming into the breaker box to start with, all you have to do is install a double pole breaker in the br.box to have source to run the power from.

as far as stableising the pwr at 230vlt,just use a surge protector. the general idea for a transformer is to step down power, not up.

then depending on how far the wire run and what size heat unit(KW) you have will determine the ga.wire&size(amp)breaker you will have to install.

don't really need a diagrahm for that, now why are you going to up the voltage from 140vlt to 230 vlt.? you are installimg a new heat sys.?

don't think you want to put 230vlt. on a 140vlt sys. talk about fire works....
