Schizophrenia meds cause nervousness?

Question

Is there a generic medication to treat schizophrenia that won't cause me to be nervous and jittery? Currently I'm taking Haloperidol and the side effects are intolerable. I've tried one medication after another and I cannot find a good generic one that I can tolerate.

i dunno if its generic i think it is nor do i know if its actually FOR schizophrenia.. but i know its used on patients with schizophrenia.. Olanzapine (Zyprexa) is very good for the nervous and gittery feeling your describing
