Schlitterbahn Waterpark?

I always wanted to go to Schlitterbahn and may be going there. I always use to watch Travel Channel's top water parks and always remembered Schlitterbahn was the top water park in the usa. I might be going to TX or DC Friday, but don't know which Schlitterbahn travel channel was talking about. I just found out there was more than one Schlittlerbahn, I just thought there was one. Which one is from Travel Chanel and the one I am talking about. I am guessing New Braunfels one. I'm from Florida and love waterparks. I have been to most waterparks in the southeast from TN to South FL. Blizzard beach, The Rapids, Wet N Wild, Six Flags White Water, Dollywood Water Park, etc. I have always heard it was the best water park, and I have always wanted to go there. I live north of ATL now... What else is there to do in the area, I will proably be driving? The only thing I know that is in TX is Schlitterbahn. Thanks!

The one on the Travel Channel is indeed the one in New Braunfels. It is the original Schlitterbahn and still the best.

San Antonio is just a 20 min drive south, plenty to keep you busy there (Alamo, shopping, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, etc.).

Austin is just a 30 min drive north, also plenty to do if you're into live music.
