Borussia Dortmund talented defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcel-Schmelzer-c23530 has announced that he wants to extend his time with the Bundesliga outfit and sign a new contract with his side. The full-back has enjoyed a
good time with the club and has made over a 100 appearances for them since 2008.
The left-back rose through the youth ranks of the club’s academy and is one of the key members of the team squad. He was an instrumental figure as he helped the Borussians win back-to-back league
titles along with the German Cup last year. He has played 17 games so far this season and netted two goals in all competitions.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international has been negotiating with the reigning champions about a prospective contract extension, as his current deal will run out by the end of the next season. He is hoping to
conclude the agreement as soon as possible, and is very pleased to ply his trade at Signal Iduna Park.
The young starlet claimed that the deal will be done within the next month and he said that the talks have been very fruitful as both parties wanted the same thing.

"We will have an agreement in the coming weeks, I'm sure of that as I am very positive on the whole affair," the former Fortuna Magdeburg and FC Magdeburg youth academy player added.
"I want to stay on at Borussia Dortmund,” the 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship winner was quoted as saying in an interview.
"It's simply incredible what we have been achieving in the past seasons. I am enjoying it," the former Borussia Dortmund reserve team player finally concluded.
Schmelzer wants to help his side secure a third straight Bundesliga honour and also targeted another trophy in the shape of DFB-Pokal or the UEFA Champions League this term. He further added that he is delighted to have won
a number of trophies with the BVB in the last few campaigns.
