If you are a junior right now, why are you looking for scholarships, or are you just gathering information for when it will be time next year to start applying for them?

Seniors who will graduate in June of 2009 will want to start searching for scholarships for college by January of 2009.  Most of them close by April-May.  If you wait too long you may miss out.  

Also, make sure you check withe school(s) you are interested in and find out about financial aid filing deadlines to make sure you don't miss them as they could cost you institutional need-based money should you qualify for it through your school.
