Manchester United’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394 will continue to play for the Red Devils next season.
The midfielder went on to come back from his retirement in January, as he looked to help out his former club fill in the void in their midfield. Following his return to the team, the thirty seven year old went on to make twenty one appearances and almost
helped his side win the league.
United missed out on their twentieth league title on the basis of a goal difference, as Manchester City went on to claim the Premier league title for the first time in forty four years.
In a recent interview, when talking about Scholes and his future at the club, the Red Devils boss went on to claim: "It's been done. He's staying. I am delighted"
"He knew he had made a mistake. He now realises if he plays 25 or 30 games next season, they will be of real quality.”
However, this time around Ferguson went on to reveal that the coming season could be the last one that Scholes plays for the team.
"I think this will be Paul's last season. We know him very well. We have had him since he was a kid. We know how to use him."
Following him revealing that Scholes would be staying at the club, the manager then went on to make it rather clear that a number of new faces would be brought in during the summers, in order to try and compensate for all the holes that were rather apparent
this season.
"Yes we want to add to the squad that's in process at the moment. We have set our stall on certain players," he confirmed.
Scholes is also rather happy with the fact that the team wants to keep him around and when talking about just how he felt about his future at the club, the veteran Red Devils midfielder went on to claim: "I'm delighted the manager feels I can still make
a contribution to the team."
It is now a wait to see just what kind of impact the player will have on the team this coming season.
