Schoo help please answer?

ok this is my first year here in america....im going to a private school....can anyone please tell me what a homeroom is? and do you call your teachers Mr. or mrs bla bla or sir and madam? are you allowed to study during lunch? are people mean to you on the first day of school? please help me

Homeroom is a classroom you go to either in the beggining or middle of the day. It is a very short class, only about 10-15 minutes and the teacher will take attendance and make an announcements. In America teachers are called by Mr and Mrs. Most schools you are allowed to study at lunch. Don't worry about people being mean to you. The older classmates don't really throw pennies at new kids. well at public school people get made fun of if your studying at lunch, unless your with a group of friends then nobody really cares, but i'm sure your allowed to. and mrs. ___ and mr. ____ is fine ;) GOOD LUCK YOU WILL DO GREAT!
