  1. I Went to part of the first grade and just hated it!  my parents wanted me to like learning so they said they would home school me.  it is super awesome you should definitely be home schooled.

  2. You need to talk to your parents about what is best for you. I greatly endorse homeschooling, however, if your parents aren't on track, it really doesn't matter what anyone here says.

I will point out, that as an adult you would have the opportunity to leave the BS behind....either by defending yourself or by leaving the job and finding a new one. So the argument that some offer that one must get used the the c**p to survive the adult world, is a feeble one.

I for one, miss nothing about high school except the lack of stress from running an adult life. This life has it's own rewards of course, like freedom and choice.

  3. Defiantly homeschooling. You should attempt to get either your GED or Diploma, either way you can drop out (if you are legal age), and its either sit around the house and never make anything of yourself, or spend a little time and get a GED or Diploma (it costs about two hundred dollars, but graduating is a lot more expensive), and you can be successful.

  4. home school

  5. School is part of your life,  I garenty when you leave school, Yuu are so looking forwards to the things ahead.

But when your out of school, you wish yood never of left

  6. i hated highschool so much........... I think i'm going to homeschool my kids..... teenagers are so mean!!!!  I would just home school... college is way better trust me.

  7. For the chick who said you always wish you had never left school once you get out, it's an amazing thing that you Did get out. Learn how to spell and type. God.

That's a lie. I left high school a year early. What you can do is try to participate in accelerated and more difficult coursework through homeschool than you could get at your high school and then go to college, which absolutely IS much better than high school. Don't just drop you; you'll most likely regret that later. Maybe not, but probably so.

Good luck with your HS problems.

  8. If you are going to have to homeschool in your new location, and you hate your current school situation, go ahead and start homeschooling now.  I think homeschooling is a great way to get an education.  You can more easily direct what subjects you want to take, and move academically at your own pace.  Good luck.

  9. home school. you do not have to put up with the bull, you can make your own schedule (get annoying classes over with in five minutes and spend hours on your fav subject). A lot of games can actually count for school, such as trading card games like Magic the gathering, Pokemon, and Yugioh. math, reading, and logic.

Home school is great. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

  10. im homeschoold, i attended highschool for 2 years and there was soo much drama, i was skipping classes with friends getting into trouble...not good.. and i wanted to graduate plus I was loosing my credits.. the principle suggested trying out homeschool.. its a linked programme to the public school.. its great.. i been doing it for about half a semester and im lovign it.. only thing i miss is my friends.. :( but they were pure drama lol... im planning on getting a job part time so i dont become a hermit lol! its kewl though i would definatly reccomend it.. i been also trying to learn to play guitar.. and im writign my own music.. alot of famous people homeschoold as well.. beyonce did her highschool year too!

  11. have home schooling.

  12. Well, if you're going to be homeschooled in a few months anyhow, I'd say definitely get started now. You'll need time to find resources and more. And moving, other than maybe some legal things that need to be taken care of, won't change things much, you'd just keep doing what you were already doing.

Think of it this way: if you were in a job with that kind of nonsense and you had the opportunity to leave that job and work elsewhere, would you stay in the crummy job?

  13. I hated my school to.  The shcool wasnt fitting my needs...i was kinda in the same situation as you are now.  I Got out!  Homeschooling is so much more freedom then regualre school!  Im like a whole different better person. Just dont let yourself get behind is all!  YOu can always decide to go back to school if u hate it.which u wont...... HOMESKOOL RULES!

  14. Well, this is a decision you'll have to make together with your parents, but here is a website with some info that may help you.

My children really enjoy homeschooling, and I wish I would have been homeschooled as well.  I wouldn't want to put up with the stuff you're dealing with either.  Good luck!

  15. If you're interested in getting homeschooled that would be something to discuss with your parents (because they would be the ones teaching you).  There are also lots of great programs out there that help kids study part time in smaller classes and get extra help if you are having a lot of trouble in the classroom.  School is important, so don't drop out.  People can be a pain, but nothing can replace a good education.  High school won't last forever.

  16. You might like it!

    But I persoanlly hate it....

It's had a huge effect on me....

And not in a good way....

    =)

    All my best!

    -Max

  17. Depending on how old you are, you can dual enroll in college.  Just take all your classes at a college and leave High school behind.

I home school all 6 of my kids and at 16 they went into college.  You can do that even if not home schooled, as a dual enrolled student.

If that is not an option for you, look into a charter home school, like k-12, or another high school online charter in your new state.

Home schooling is awesome but hard to just jump into in the middle of the game, that is why I would suggest a online Charter school.

    Hope that helps:-)

  18. I would opt for homeschool over no school at all any day.  You should try the home school before you drop out or you have given yourself a real disadvantage in life as qualifications are important to display knowledge it doesn't always matter if you know lots of things if you can't prove that to prospective employers.

Due to the fact that when you move you are best home schooling then it could be an advantage to start it early and to remove you from the uncomfortable upsetting situation at school.

Please don't give up on education just find a way that suits you.

  19. Well, you gave me no reason to think you'd miss school. Cheer up and look into homeschool. But, remember that this decision is primarily up to your parents.
