School Bus Engine?

Question

Can anyone tell me a general idea of what a new diesel engine would cost for a school bus? I know it depends based on model, etc... But just a general ballpark figure ($3,000.00 or $5,000 etc)

ABOUT $ 2200.00 ( + labor; about $ 800.00 ). Depends on where you are ! NY; MORE.!   MISS.,LESS ! By new engine, I mean a factory rebuilt eng. ( CRATE ENGINE ) ! GOOD !
