School Cafeteria lunches?

I am sick of high school lunches. I have gained like 50 pounds in the past year just from eating them. They don't even taste that good. I was wondering if I will feel better and healthier if I just pack my lunch. Will the weight go down if I exercise and just pack my lunch everyday.

Also what are some tasty and simple lunches that I can pack to take. We have a microwave but I would rather just use my food container to pack my food in, if it the food is hot. It looks like this-

  1. i never had a high school lunch before

    <cause obviously i'm not a high schooler -_-

    sooooo i am just gonna pack my lunch when i do go to high school cause that just proved they r gross....


  2. of course. schools provide you with the cheapest, easiest types of food which is basically junk.

    so making your own lunches will definetely benefit your figure and your health as you know what you are putting into your body.

    i recommend sandwiches. they are easy, and you can choose a whole variety of fillings to put in.

    try ham, with avocado, or tuna with lettuce, or ham with cheese and tomato.

    you can also pack yourself fruits such as apples or bananas, and also the occasional treat like a pack of chips or buiscuts and chocolate.  

  3. The container would be fine for soups, stews, casseroles and cold salads.

    I grew up having single filling sandwiches in my school years. As an adult an adult I will do double or triple level sandwiches.

    Sandwiches. Fillings.

    Asparagus & Mayonnaise.

    Beetroot & Cold Lamb.

    Cheese & Onion.

    Cheese & Vegemite.

    Cold Lamb & Mustard Pickles.

    Corned Beef & Tomato Sauce. (ketchup)

    Cucumber.

    Cucumber & Tomato.

    Egg.

    Egg & Chives. (spring onion)

    Grated Carrot.

    Lettuce.

    Lettuce & Vegemite

    Sandwiches:- Club

    (3 fillings between 4 slices of bread)

    Deli Meat.

    Mashed Egg.

    Tomato.

    Sandwiches:- Double Deckers

    (2 fillings between 3 slices of bread ,season to taste)

    Cheese and Cold Meat.

    Corned Beef and Tomato

    Lettuce and Mashed Egg.

    Lettuce  and Tomato.

    Tomato and Egg.

    You ar what you eat so watch what you eat, fullstop!

    Resent is not the word I would use, to describe school lunches. Stupid, idiotic, "designed by idiot's" are far better words.

  4. Packing your own lunch will definitely help. You get to pick foods you love and know will be healthy for you. It is annoying to wake up an extra 10 minutes earlier but it will make your body and wallet feel better:) Having left overs is the BEST!

  5. Well of course they're bad. Look at the choices they have: pizza, hamburgers, spaghetti, most are just full of carbs and low in nutrients. So, yes the best possible result is to pack your own food. I usually pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, some fruit such as cut up oranges or strawberries, and some water. Yogurt is also another good choice.
