School Gazebo thing?

Hi, for school we have to make a gazebo thing? like a minuture one and it has for sides and a roof thing and im wondering whats the bset matieral to make the sides and roof thing out of like a frame b4 the sheet thing goes on top??

If the Gazebo was only 1 metre all the way around then I would use plywood. But then you have to cover it with oil so it wont be scratched as easy.

If you wont a better answer but in your budget.
