  1. Hey I answered your other question about this and it states what you and your parents should do about getting help from school.

Your school DOES get it , they just don't want to help. Sorry to say, but it's true.

You have proven it by telling them over and over that you need help (as you mentioned in your other post also) and they keep ignoring you.

  2. You need to talk to the school counselor and tell them that you need help. I would then tell your parents to contact the board of education about getting you the help you need.

  3. If you live in the US then there are ways to help you with you education, in fact it is the law that you be given a free and appropriate education.  You will need to be tested either by the school district and/or privately (usually at a hospital or university) to help pinpoint what the problem is.  How can you be a sophomore with only 3 credits? By now someone should have realized that you have a problem. Your parents should look into a 504 plan, resource room and tutoring.  The help you seek is out there.

  4. Have you been evaluated by a medical doctor at all?  How did you make it to your sophomore year with only 3 credits?

Something doesn't sound right about this at all.  You're not giving the whole story.

  5. by now the school should see that you need help. try getting a tutor or getting a IEP. i have one and it is very helpful. hope i helped you out.

  6. have your parents request IN WRITING that the school perform a Multifactored Evaluation (MFE). they have to do this if it is requested. keep a copy of the letter because if the school doesn't follow through, you have documentation and you can take legal action, though it shouldn't come to that. The MFE will determine if you are eligible for an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and what special services you are eligible to receive. email me at jones_h_e@yahoo.com  if you need further info. i am happy to help
